Sahara Black

Black granite adorned with delicate specks of blue creates a mesmerizing tableau, reminiscent of a starlit night sky captured within the stone’s elegant embrace. It is available in the Andhra-Telangana-Tamil Nadu belt. It is found in the network of dolerite dykes, a remarkable feature of the Archean crust. It is thought to have formed as a result of the movement of magma beneath the Earth’s surface. The magma was able to flow through the cracks and fissures in the preexisting rocks, forming the dykes. The cross-cutting, coalescing, and ramifying patterns of the dykes are evidence of the complex and dynamic processes that were at work during the Archean era.
